Welcome, I’m Mallory MacDonald, Founder and Creative Director of LOCAL LOVE MUSKOKA.

Founded in May 2021, L.L.M. was built with a clear purpose: to support, elevate, and advocate for local businesses across Muskoka during a time when many were facing unprecedented challenges. What began as a grassroots Instagram platform quickly evolved into a full-service, agency-style brand rooted in community, authenticity, and measurable impact. 

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph and hands-on experience in e-commerce, including developing websites for small businesses across Canada through a Shopify-supported program, I recognized a critical gap. Many local businesses had incredible products and services but lacked the strategy, tools, and digital presence needed to grow in an increasingly competitive landscape.

LOCAL LOVE MUSKOKA was created to bridge that gap.
